This pigeon is a beautiful, thin-tailed, small-headed pigeon. Which is common throughout the continent. Mourning pigeons are sitting on the telephone wires. For the seeds on the ground, their flight is fast and the bullet is always straight. Their gentle, drawn calls sound like lamentations. When these pigeons fly. These pigeons can be seen flying around one after another during breeding season. It is a form of social exposure. Usually a bird in a lead is a couple of males. The second bird is a spontaneous male who pursues his opponent from the area where he is expected to nest. The third is the woman of the matted pair, who goes along for the ride. Mourning pigeons are busy eating food, swallowing the seeds and storing them in the expansion of the esophagus called the crop. Once they fill it (there is a record of 17,200 bluegrass seeds in a single crop!), they can fly to a secure perch to process their food.Mourning pigeons eat about 12 to 20 percent of their body weight daily, or an average of 71 calories.

The oldest mourner was a pigeon man. Which was at least thirty years and four months. He was then shot in Florida in 1998. It was tied up in
Georgia in 1968.
